Indigenous fish varieties in our country are at the verge of extinct. WAVE Foundation intends to conserve and promote the varieties at the farmer level as a source of nutrition and income. To that end, WAVE has inaugurated its Indigenous Fish Hatchery on 9 July, 2019. A full-fledged scientific structure of a Fish Hatchery has been built with all the arrangement for breeding and nurturing of indigenous fries.
