WAVE Foundation is a Civil Society Organization, established in 1990. WAVE is dedicated to its motto ‘Together for Better Life’ towards the vision of establishing ‘A Just and Prosperous Society’. Since its inception, the organization has been implementing a wide range of activities to promote socio-economic development for poor and marginalized communities. WAVE also advocates for universal human rights and good governance through issue-based campaigns. The organization has structured its activities under Five major programs, which include 1. Microfinance, 2. Agroecology Focused Agri-Food System Transformation, 3. Governance, Rights and Justice, 4. Community Development and Youth Empowerment and 5. Climate Justice and Renewable Energy Promotion. WAVE has impacted over 17.5 million households, making it a pivotal force in the development sector. All of its initiatives and multifaceted approaches have been instrumental in empowering communities and providing access to resources, leading to transformative change, inspiration, hope, and progress. Its contributions have played a crucial role in realizing the country’s development plan and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
