WAVE believes that by investing in our communities and promoting social progress, we can all work together towards a brighter future for everyone. Therefore, it strives to ensure that all individuals have access to fundamental necessities such as healthcare, nutrition, education, and equitable development. WAVE recognizes that women, youth, and adolescents hold the key to social development and therefore, focuses on developing their leadership skills, life skills, and professional development to empower them to contribute to society. The program provides strategic directions for innovating, designing, implementing, and monitoring initiatives for social development. Under this program, we facilitate projects and activities on education, health, peacebuilding, social cohesion, responsive public services, Social Safety Net, prevention of violence against women, women leadership development, the inclusion of excluded populations, disability and development, elderly people, and many others. We prioritize developing youth skill sets and empowering them with leadership capabilities and life and occupational skills. Due to unemployment, a lack of motivation and frustration is observed among this large number of the youth group. Therefore, it is vital to create a practical and futuristic plan for overall youth development that will allow them to tap into society’s potential. Our youth-centric activities aim to provide the necessary education, knowledge, and practical skills to empower young people in their socio-economic context and advance their personal development. Our main objective is to facilitate young people’s emerging as entrepreneurs, developing leadership skills, participating in climate-focused programs, and creating their own platforms. Overall, the program follows a holistic approach targeting crucial aspects of human life. It is a people-driven integrated development pursuit that aims at accelerating sustainable development. 

ENRICH is a program conducted at the grassroots level focusing on the overall household development of people with low incomes. The program targets low-income families, working with them to enhance and maximize the utilization of their resources and skills. ENRICH aims to alleviate poverty through income generation and a holistic approach targeting other crucial aspects of human life, including health, education, youth development, community development, etc. This is a people-driven integrated development pursuit aiming at accelerating sustainable development. It also helps and creates mechanisms for them to work with relevant institutions and larger communities to effectively prepare for responses to natural disasters and implement a new and effective method of GO-NGO collaboration for development. WAVE implements the project in Jibonnagar and Damurhuda Upazilla in Chuadanga district with its own fund and support from PKSF. 

The Adolescent Program aims to enhance awareness and exercise values by the targeted adolescent, leadership and life skill development, nutrition and health services improvement, and advancement of sports and cultural activities. To foster the development of targeted adolescent girls & boys, the project intervenes in the Club and Forum formation; organizes workshops on menstrual health management, including sanitary napkin distribution; organizes nutrition camps and ideal cooking exercises; facilitates training on leadership and career development; organizes debate & sports competition;  undertake social action to combat the violence against women, child marriage, forced marriages, dowry, etc.; organizes a campaign against drug, corruption, and terrorism, etc. WAVE implements the project in 5 Upazilas in Chuadanga and Kushtia districts with its own funds and support from PKSF. 

Youth Assembly (YA) is a youth-led network of civil society organization WAVE Foundation founded in 2015 that aims to empower young people and create a stronger community. The Assembly promotes youth rights and development in the area of education, skill, and employment as well as facilitates their active participation in overall social development. It brings the youths in a common space to broaden their views and values towards the positive actions and changes. This space includes both physical and virtual platforms for leveraging youths with the advents of learning from each other and fueling their actions.
