On 24 June 2020, carrying banners with coronavirus awareness slogans, slogan wrapped t-shirts, placards, caps and small festoons a total number of 30 members from Youth Assembly, including 18 boys and 12 girls, marched around the alleys of Jibannagar Municipality starting from the premises of Jibannagar Upazila Parishad. Jibannagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mr. S M Munim Lincoln was present as a chief guest at the opening session of the procession for awareness raising health related rules on corona. Jibannagar Upazila social service officer Mr. Masudur Rahman, former chairman of Upazila Parishad Mr. Abu Md. A. Latif Amal, Vice Chairman of Upazila Parishad Mr. A. Salam Isha, Uthali UP Chairman Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, General Secretary of Jibannagar press club Mr. M R Babu and President of journalists’ association Mr. Zahid Babu were present as special guests. Youth Assembly convener Mithun Mahmud presided over the function. After the inaugural session, they toured various roads of the Upazila. Members of the Youth Assembly Pranti Biswas, Tanvir Ahmed Nishan, Shimul Biswas and Rajib Ahmed spoke on various important and public meeting areas at that time. WAVE Foundation Coordinator Kamruzzaman Juddho, Program Officer Abdul Alim Sajal Hossan and Md. Asaduzzaman were present on the occasion.
