Angkur Crafts is an enterprise of WAVE Foundation that aims to support poor and underserved families by creating opportunities for them to become small entrepreneurs and building market linkage for their products, especially crafting and clothing. Women are particularly encouraged to join this platform. It has been playing a significant role in helping women to achieve skills and grow as entrepreneurs. Since its inception, these women have produced many hand-stitched clothes. Angkur Crafts is also working to set up a market linkage to allow the products of these small producers to find buyers. At present, it has an outlet in Chuadanga district. Due to the growing interest of customers the social enterprise is expanding outreach of its products in targeted areas.
