Youth Assembly, in collaboration with Veritas Edutech Limited and Risho Speech, organized a hybrid seminar titled “Study Abroad: Opportunities, Scholarships, and Career Pathways” on 10 June 2026 at WAVE Foundation Head Office and via zoom workplace. The event brought together participants both in person and online, creating an interactive platform for learning and engagement with international education and career experts.

The program commenced with an introduction to WAVE Foundation and its youth platform, Youth Assembly by Nazma Sultana Lily, Deputy Director of WAVE Foundation. Amzad Khan, R&D Executive of Risho Speech discussed the role of Risho Speech in supporting students and professionals through language development, speech training, and communication skill enhancement programs that help prepare individuals for international study. Subsequently, Sazzad Hossain Farhan of Veritas Edutech Limited presented the organization’s services and highlighted its role in facilitating overseas education pathways, student counseling, and academic placement support.

The first technical session was conducted by Mr. Michael Ho, Career Adviser from the United Kingdom. He discussed study and career opportunities available in the UK, including university admission pathways, scholarship options, student visa requirements, legal part-time employment opportunities, entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems, and the Global Talent Visa Programme. The second session was delivered by Mr. Piotr Fąfara, Higher Education and Career Adviser from Poland. He presented an overview of higher education opportunities in Poland, including university admission procedures, tuition costs, student life, residence permit processes, work permit and career opportunities available in Poland and across Europe.

A dedicated question-and-answer session followed the presentations, allowing participants to engage directly with the speakers. Following participants’ questions, speakers provided practical guidance based on their professional experiences. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Umme Fariha Nanziba, Member Secretary of Youth Assembly.

The event enhanced participants’ understanding of study destinations, scholarship opportunities, visa processes and future career pathways in the United Kingdom and Europe. Through initiatives such as this, Youth Assembly continues to create inclusive knowledge-sharing platforms where young people can connect with experts, explore global opportunities and make more informed decisions about their education and career aspirations.
