What if the next breakthrough idea in education, career, or innovation comes from a young mind in Bangladesh powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI)? With this vision, WAVE Foundation’s Youth Assembly in collaboration with Shonod, marked World Youth Skills Day 2025 with an online workshop titled “Unlocking AI Tools: Skills for the Future” on 15 July 2025.
The session opened doors for young participants to explore how AI is reshaping the way we learn, communicate, and create. From personalized learning to content design and career building, AI tools are no longer futuristic, they are part of everyday life. Aligned with this year’s global theme, “Youth Empowerment through AI and Digital Skills”, the workshop gave youth the chance to understand and practice using AI with purpose and responsibility.
Led by Mr. Saydujjaman, a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Founder & CEO of Shonod, the workshop combined clarity with creativity. Through engaging demonstrations of tools like ChatGPT, Canva Magic Studio, Grammarly, Notion AI, Descript, and ElevenLabs, participants discovered how AI can enhance academic work, boost productivity, and spark innovation.
The learning journey was designed as a story itself beginning with a friendly introduction to AI, diving into real-life applications, reflecting on ethical responsibilities, and ending with a hands-on mini workshop where participants practiced prompt writing and content creation. A lively Q&A session added energy and dialogue to the event.
Participants came from universities, volunteer groups, CSOs, and youth platforms across Bangladesh, creating a diverse learning community. To reinforce learning, a post-event quiz, certificates, and resource packs including an AI Tools Cheat Sheet and a Prompt Writing Guide were shared.
This workshop was more than an event. It was a step toward shaping future-ready youth leaders who are digitally skilled, ethically aware, and prepared to turn innovation into opportunity.
