To promote organic and safe crop production, WAVE Foundation, with support from PKSF, organized an Exhibition and Field Day on 25 September 2025 at the Agroecology Learning and Tourism Center (Former Go Green Center) in Chuadanga and Meherpur districts. The event gathered agriculture entrepreneurs to observe the results of different agroecological demonstration plots, explore the production and use of organic fertilizers and bio-pesticides, and share field experiences.

Over 100 participants, including 30 women farmers and 70 men, attended the program, indicating significant community interest in sustainable farming practices. The participating farmers engaged in a lively and interactive question-and-answer session, sharing their reflections on challenges and opportunities in transitioning toward agroecological farming. Their enthusiastic participation created an energetic and vibrant learning environment. Speaking at the event, Senior Coordinator of WAVE Foundation, Mr. Kamruzzaman Juddho, discussed how progressive farmers under the project could replicate the practices demonstrated across the eight plots. He emphasized the importance of scaling agroecological methods to strengthen soil health, reduce input costs and enhance long-term farm resilience.

The Chief Guest, Additional Agriculture Officer of Damurhuda Upazila emphasized key strategies to grow agroecological farming via joint government and NGO efforts. He highlighted that coordinated actions, technical assistance, and community demonstration models are vital for transforming local farming practices into sustainable systems. This Exhibition and Field Day reiterates WAVE Foundation’s dedication to advancing regenerative agriculture, equipping rural farmers with practical knowledge and establishing a strong, environmentally friendly farming ecosystem in the area.
