On 23 October 2025, WAVE Foundation’s ACT-II project engaged Grade 7 students of Auliapur High School in Bakerganj Upazila, Barishal, through an interactive orientation session designed to inspire positive behaviour and lifelong healthy habits. Thirty-one students, 12 boys and 19 girls explored six essential behaviour-based topics: environmental hygiene, food hygiene, personal hygiene, safe water practices, sanitation, and handwashing.

Through practical demonstrations, real-life examples, and lively discussions, students gained a clear understanding of the impact of simple, daily habits on personal and community wellbeing. The handwashing exercise became a memorable highlight, underlining how small actions can prevent illness and foster a healthy lifestyle. Each participant received a behaviour-themed desk calendar and a bar of soap, encouraging them to apply their learning at home and inspire others.

The session motivated students to adopt safe practices, make responsible choices, and share knowledge with family and peers, cultivating a generation empowered to lead healthier, more conscious lives and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
