A representative team of Governance Advocacy Forum (GAF) made a courtesy meeting with the honorable Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperative (LGRD) Minister, Mr. Md. Tazul Islam at his office on 28thMarch 2019. In this introductory meeting, the GAF members informed the minister about GAF vision and programs. The honorable minister appreciated the initiatives of GAF and called for providing him as well as the ministry with specific suggestions on promoting decentralization and establishing strong local government. As the Coordinator of GAF, Mr. Mohsin Ali led the team of GAF representatives; Mr. Arshad Siddiqui (ICCO), Subash Chandra Saha (VERC), Ms. Kaniz Fatima (WAVE Foundation) and Mr. Aniruddha Roy (GAF Secretariat).
