Youth Connect: Youth Green Entrepreneurship Development Project

Youth Connect is a global leadership programme that empowers young people like you to contribute to positive social and economic change, fostering more peaceful and prosperous communities. It supports young people to develop the skills, confidence and connections to tackle major challenges like limited economic opportunities, inequality and polarisation.

Through a mix of online learning opportunities and projects on the ground, we give you the space to connect with other young people and wider ecosystem in your country and around the world. Working with each other, you can make your voices heard on the things that matter to you most.
If you’re passionate about making a difference, this is your chance to turn your ideas into action. Get the skills you need to make change in your own life, in your community and on a global stage.

The project is an inspiring initiative of WAVE Foundation supported by British Council. We are dedicated to empowering young people to lead Bangladesh toward a greener and more sustainable future.

Our goal is to equip youth with leadership and green entrepreneurship skills that foster innovation, climate resilience, and community-driven development. Through mentorship, training, and ecosystem building, we aim to transform young people into proactive changemakers who drive inclusive growth and environmental sustainability.

In Year One, 510 youths from Chuadanga and Jhenaidah districts are participating in Cohort 1. In Year Two, 750 youths from Chuadanga, Jhenaidah, and Meherpur will join Cohort 2. The project covers six upazilas: Chuadanga Sadar, Jhenaidah Sadar, Meherpur Sadar, Jibonnagar, Damurhuda, and Alamdanga.

Through this journey, Youth Connect contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) particularly Quality Education (SDG 4), Gender Equality (SDG 5), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10) and Climate Action (SDG 13).

Join us to connect, learn, and lead the change! Together, we can build a generation of confident, creative, and climate-conscious entrepreneurs who will shape a better tomorrow.
